On August 17, Bancroft welcomed partners, sponsors, and community supporters to Fieldstone Golf Club in Greenville, Delaware, for its Second Annual Charitable Golf Outing, a day centered on connection, philanthropy, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

With 116 participants representing 29 foursomes, the event brought together members of the Bancroft community to enjoy a day on one of the region’s most scenic courses while supporting causes that strengthen the communities where we live and work. Set among the rolling hills of northern Delaware, Fieldstone’s picturesque par 71 course provided the perfect setting for a growing Bancroft tradition.

“The fact that we’re gathered here for our Second Annual Bancroft Golf Outing tells me something important: this is becoming a tradition,” said Bancroft President and CEO Mike Petka. “Like the legacy of the Bancroft family itself, traditions that endure are built by people who care about something bigger than themselves.”

Through Bancroft’s Build to Serve program, the outing raised funds that will help support a wide range of nonprofit organizations and community initiatives. The program reflects Bancroft’s ongoing commitment to investing in the people and organizations that create lasting impact throughout the region.

This year’s fundraising efforts will benefit organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, Children & Families First, Exceptional Care for Children, Habitat for Humanity, Nemours Children’s Health, and the American Heart Association. Additional support will also assist local schools, youth athletics programs, community centers, and other organizations dedicated to enriching the lives of those they serve.

A highlight of the event was Bancroft’s $10,000 donation to Faithful Friends. The organization works to champion animal welfare, advocate for policy change, and provide compassionate support to animals and their caregivers. The contribution will help Faithful Friends continue its mission of serving vulnerable animals and the people who care for them.

The success of the outing was made possible by Bancroft’s generous sponsors. Nickle Electrical Companies served as the premier sponsor, joined by WillScott, Jamestown Painting, NorthEast Contractors, and Sobieski Mechanical Contractors, Inc. Each of our sponsors and participants played a vital role in helping the event achieve its fundraising goals and expand its community impact.

Bancroft also extends its sincere appreciation to the Golf Outing Committee, whose planning, coordination, and dedication helped create a memorable experience for all involved. The positive feedback received from participants reflects the tremendous effort invested in making the day a success.

As the event continues to grow, the Bancroft Golf Outing stands as a reflection of the company’s culture: building strong relationships, supporting meaningful causes, and creating opportunities to give back. With another successful year in the books, Bancroft looks forward to continuing this tradition and expanding its impact in the years ahead.
