Floors 2 through 7 of the Tower at STAR Campus serve as an expansion for the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences. The 100,000 SF plus space provides extensive opportunities for the community to be engaged in research in the areas of prevention and wellness. Some of the newly constructed areas include space for exercise intervention for chronic diseases, nutrition counseling and research, health coaching, stress testing, infant and maternal nutrition, fitness counseling, cardiovascular research, metabolic research, and programs for individuals with disabilities. Many of the spaces give undergraduate and graduate students from across the university the chance to collaborate with clinical partners on research and learning opportunities.
