Located on a 108-acre parcel of land in Middletown, DE, the Freestanding Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art facility built for ChristianaCare. The Emergency Department occupies the entire first floor of the 60,000-SF facility and features state-of-the-art technology as well as clinical areas and other medical spaces such as treatment rooms, nurses stations, doctors’ offices, C.T. radiology rooms, decontamination rooms, clinical decision units, isolation rooms, blood labs, chemistry labs and hematology labs.
