Bancroft Celebrates Grand Opening of Largest Multi-Family Project to Date
June 30, 2025 12:30 pmWe are proud to celebrate the grand opening of The Wexford Apartments, which took place on June 25 in Lumberton, New Jersey. This milestone marks the substantial completion of a significant residential development led by Bancroft Construction.
The Wexford Apartments span an impressive 385,417 square feet and consist of 304 rental units across eleven residential buildings. The community features three distinct building types: two-story townhomes, three-story walk-ups, and four-story elevator-accessible buildings. Of the 304 units, 261 are market-rate apartments, while 43 are designated as affordable housing, reflecting a balanced and inclusive approach to residential development.
Enhancing the community experience, the property includes a stunning new 6,840-square-foot clubhouse. This amenity-rich facility houses an indoor lounge area, fitness center, parcel lockers, mailroom, leasing offices, and a model unit. Outside, residents can enjoy a spacious amenities deck complete with a pavilion, outdoor fire feature, and pool. Additional on-site amenities include a dog park, playground, and scenic walking trails. The parking area has been future-proofed with six electric vehicle charging stations and infrastructure to accommodate additional stations as demand grows.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was well attended, with remarks from local officials, including Lumberton Mayor Gina LaPlaca. Bancroft was honored to have a strong presence at the event, with team members from across the company in attendance. Key contributors to the project included Richard Grandizio, Ryan Eagles, Steve Griffin, Kevin Medina, Jack Bonner, and Luke Van Auken, along with leadership and support from Greg Sawka, Mike Petka, and Bobby Judge.
Caroline Adillon, Owner of Viking Residential, expressed her appreciation for Bancroft during the ceremony, stating:
“We worked very closely with Rich and Ryan—they became like family to us. We’re really happy with the end product.”
Every project brings its unique challenges, but what sets Bancroft apart is our commitment to relationship building, proactive problem-solving, and unwavering dedication to quality. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary this year, The Wexford Apartments stand as a testament to our continued mission—building spaces that strengthen and enrich the communities we serve.
We are incredibly proud of our team for finishing strong and are honored to have contributed to the growth and vibrancy of the Lumberton community.
