Engineering News-Record (ENR) named Bancroft Construction’s Tony Ingram to its prestigious 2024 Top 25 Newsmakers list. Ingram has managed more than $400 million in construction projects, most notably the newsworthy Longwood Reimagined project. The celebration of the Newsmaker achievements was held at ENR’s Award of Excellence gala dinner last month at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers in New York City.

As the Senior Project Manager for Longwood Gardens’ Longwood Reimagined Project, a transformative $250 million endeavor on 17 acres in Kennett Square, PA, Ingram effectively led a team of over 25 Bancroft operational resources and nearly 100 trade partners, earning recognition as an ENR Top Newsmaker. This was Longwood Gardens’ most significant capital investment to date.

“I am humbled to join the ranks of the inspiring Newsmakers on this year’s list. This is really a team award – all the Longwood Gardens team, Bancroft Construction team members, design partners, and trade partners contributed to the success of the project,” said Ingram.

Now, as a Project Executive, Ingram serves esteemed clients including Delaware Army National Guard, Potter Anderson & Corroon, Penn Medicine, and Exceptional Care for Children. He actively practices Lean Construction, contributing to Bancroft’s Lean Evolution and collaborating with Lean Experts such as The Realignment Group and RS Consulting to implement Lean principles.

“Tony is a great leader; this award represents his willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team and is a true Servant Leader. The editor of ENR magazine had recognized Tony based on feedback directly from the client about his willingness to jump right into action when needed. Very well-deserved,” said Mike Petka, Vice President of Operations at Bancroft Construction.

Ingram obtained his Certificate of Management (CM-Lean) in Lean Construction from the AGC of America in 2019. He also plays a pivotal role as a member of Bancroft Construction’s Senior Leadership Team, shaping organizational initiatives and demonstrating a commitment to innovation in the engineering and construction industry. As a highly experienced construction professional specializing in project management within the cultural and healthcare sectors, Ingram has dedicated his career to overseeing complex projects, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and quality.
