This is the third consecutive year that Bancroft has been named a Top Workplace. The title is confirmation of the many positive employee-focused initiatives and activities of which Bancroft dedicates its resources, such as an employee appreciation program, ongoing training and certifications, safety and wellness strategies, and company-wide events.
“For three years in a row, we have been recognized as a Top Workplace, and we are so thrilled and honored,” said Greg Sawka, President and CEO of Bancroft Construction Company. “Ranking in the top one-third of other businesses in our category reinforces our company’s positive culture and strength in our people, who truly are our greatest asset and a direct representation of our Guiding Principles on which we base our operations. Without our employees, we would not be where or who we are today.” “Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
