Project Goals

To construct a high quality retail and office faciltity within a tight schedule in order to meet owner leasing commitments and capitalize on seasonal business.
To accommodate site soil deficiencies without compromising building design or environmental conditions.

The site's soil conditions required sinking concrete caissons, 25 feet deep by 6 feet in diameter, to suspend the building's 80,000 square foot mass. The center includes a subterranean parking garage that can accommodate 150 vehicles, first floor retail, second floor plaza offices with full balcony, and third floor office suites. The signature windowed stair tower offers access to all levels. It is accented with marble and mahogany and features a custom built oversized clock. The project attracted specialty retailers such as Country Curtains, Joseph A. Banks Clothier, The Enchanted Owl, and fine gift and antique shops.
