Each year, during the holiday season, Bancroft employees raise money for the Adopt-A-Family program. It is something that the whole company looks forward to and willingly participates in. Sponsored by the Delaware Department of Social Services this program is designed to help needy families get some of their basic needs met for the holiday season. Our employees' proceeds go toward providing necessities such as clothing, household items and food.

This year we had two families with a total of nine children to provide for - needless to say our shoppers had their work cut out for them. With the generosity of our employees we were able to raise $1,700.00. Bancroft's volunteer shoppers used the money
to purchase everything from gloves and hats to toys, kitchenware and gift certificates.
