Owner: Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay
Delivery Method: Design-Build
Bancroft recently completed a new, multi-functional service center to serve as the Northern Region headquarters for the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay. The new service center was constructed on seven acres of land on Old Baltimore Pike north of Smalley’s Pond near Route 275. The service center provides much needed space and resources for the approximate 16,000 girls and adult volunteers that GSCB serves. GSCB is currently the largest girl advocacy organization on the Delmarva Peninsula. The GSCB moved from their former facility of 25 years, which was located on S. College Avenue on the University of Delaware College of Agriculture campus.
