The DuPont Country Club project includes the construction of a 7,800 SF Golf Training Facility with associated site work and a tennis pavilion at the Wilmington landmark, which first opened in 1920. At the center of that facility will be a newly constructed golf training center, complete with six bays equipped with TrackMan technology allowing for simulated play both into a screen and — when the garage-style doors lift open — out onto the range. The bays will be heated and allow for play year-round. The room will also contain a bar and fireplaces. Rockland Sports, which purchased the DuPont Country Club in early 2018, plans to undergo nearly $18MM worth of construction to the existing facilities.
