This project involved a extensive renovation to 45,000 SF of existing laboratory space, as well as the construction of a 15,000 SF addition to Building 9 at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Hopewell campus. The Cell Molecular Biology Laboratories included a non-GMP Automation Suite for Cell Line Development (CLD) that was designed to the microelectronics industry ISO 7 level of cleanliness.
Two existing robots were relocated from the BMS Bloomsbury campus and one new robot was installed in the CLD Automation Suite. The laboratory was constructed to be utilized as a modular and flexible lab space. This included the design and construction of custom utility columns housing power, data, vacuum, compressed air, helium, argon, carbon dioxide, and oxygen gases to support the current and future needs of the client.
