The 3,600 SF Service Providers Center (SPC) features water efficient landscaping, dual action flush-o-meters, touchless faucets, and waterless urinals, the building uses 30% less water than conventional designs. A thermal envelope which minimizes heat gain and heat loss along with a 10kw photovoltaic panel system provides increased energy efficiency while a ground source heat pump delivers lower life cycle expenses. The SPC was recognized for its innovation in green building practices and became the first building by a Delaware contractor to be certified LEED Gold by the U.S. Green Building Council.
